Results: Harris Teeter and Farm Fresh!

Went to Harris Teeter and Farm Fresh today... had a BLAST!  Andy and I are eating healthier (Yay!) so I'm not getting a lot of the junk these days, even if it is a "good deal."  (Although when you consider healthcare costs down the road, the savings are negligible).  Here's the rundown:

Transaction 1:
Pampers big box $24.99 - $1.50 P&G - $1.50 ZVR = $21.99
Vicks Nature Fusion $5.99 - $3 P&G - $3 ZVR = $.01 MM
-$20 Credit
+ 5% tax $1.25 = $3.23

I did NOT get the cat for the $10 prepaid card... I went to CS but they told me it had to be $30 after coupons... Pretty sure this isn't the case (it never has been in the past), but I will wait to see if it works for others and then possibly call CS again or corporate.

Transaction 2:
Domino Light brown sugar 2lb. $2.35 - $.50 = $1.35
Cottonelle Moist Wipes $2.59 - $.75 cat (DND9) - $.50 ZVR = $1.34
3 Pampers Wipes $3.29 - $.50 - $.50 ZVR = $1.79 (ZVR only comes off once, other two were $2.29)
2 Dole Pineapple $1.15 - $.50/2 = $.65 each
Solo Plates BOGO $1.99 - $.75 = $.24
Carpet Fresh $1.69 - $1 = $.69
HT Kidney Beans (needed for recipe) = $.77
In Style magazine $3.99 - $2 coupons.com - $2 S* = FREE after SavingStar!
Earthbound Farms Organic Spring mix salad $3 - $1 in-store special (found this on the spring mix only and is stackable. See if your store has it!) - $.75 = $.50
Minute Steamers brown rice $1.25 - $.50 = $.25
HT Greek yogurt $1 (I had a $.75/3 cat, but turns out it was expired!  I got this anyway because I thought I should pay for something... :) )
-$20 credit from prescription
+ 5% sales tax $1.06
+2.5% sales tax $.27
Grand total: $2.41

Totals for Harris Teeter:
Total before coupons: $87.10
Total spent after coupons: $5.64

Then I went to Farm Fresh and got a lot of produce, but these are the things I used coupons on (not all things were on sale, some things we just needed!).  It's nice to take advantage of Farm Fresh doubling up to $1 on Wednesdays. :)

Glade Electric Warmer (I have had the scents forever because I got them for really cheap with coupons but I never had the warmer!) $3.69 - $1 = $1.69
Gerber 2nd Foods $1.12 - $1/4 = $2.48/4, or $.62 each
Pull-ups moist wipes $4.79 - $1 = $2.79
Orajel training toothpaste $3.99 - $1 = $1.99
Oral B toothbrush $3 - $.75 = $1.50

So no great deals... I didn't have the Activia coupon or I would have definitely gotten that.  Overrall, though, I saved $9.50 with coupons.  Not the biggest number but I have been scouting prices for these things (training toothpaste) and I know that I got the best price.  Plus, it's things we would have bought anyway that we needed that I had coupons for.

Happy shopping! :)
