Walgreen's has some great deals this week! 4 things for free after Register Rewards (I only wanted 2 of them), and a great deal on cereal and gum. I had $22 on my rebates card (rebate from the probiotic finally went through). Here's what I got:
Natrol Melatonin 100 ct. $4, get $4 RR
Arctic Naturals Daily Omega-3 60 ct. $10, get $10 RR
First transaction total: $14, used rebate card, paid nothing
Got back $10 and $4 RR
Second transaction:
2 Huggies snug and dry $8.99 - $3 here = $5.99, buy 2 and get 2,000 points! (1,000 is the equivalent of $1, but I'm saving mine up to 40,000 to get the highest discount)
Pepperidge Farm goldfish crackers $2.49 (no sale - just bc I had the girls with me :)
2 ID gum spearmint $1.49 - BOGO up to $1 = $.74 each (online it said the price was $.99 but I really didn't care), got 200 points
-(3) $1.50 RR from previous transactions
(4) caramels as fillers $.33 each
I tried using the $4 and $10 from trans #1 (which was the whole point of me splitting it up), but for some reason the register wouldn't let me. Really want to find out why...
Subtotal: $13.27
After rebate card (amount paid): $6.28
Paper coupon savings: $11.50, got $14 in RR for next time
Total saved this year with paper coupons: $237.68
This number is not reflective of savings as a result of sales, e-coupons, or
gift cards.
Total spent to get coupons: $10.15
