Made a quick trip to Target tonight:

5 General Mills cereals (2 Cheerios yellow box, 2 Lucky Charms, 1 Honey Nut Cheerios Medley).  Target is having a buy 5 get a $5 GC, and the boxes are $2.50.  I used (2) $.50 coupons for the yellow box of Cheerios (coupons.com), and $1/3 General Mills coupon.  There are lots of other coupons for this, including $1/2 Chex (didn't know they were included until I got there), and $1 Honey Nut Cheerios Medley that is NLA it went so fast to print.  I'm saving mine for the Tom Thumb sale, though, since it didn't make a difference if I used just that $1/1 or $1/3.

Buy any 3 Pediasure products, get a $5 GC.
3 @ $9.99  = $29.97 - (3)$3 (printable on their website, sign up and they'll email it to you) - $2 (Target mailer) = $18.97, got $5 GC, makes them essentially $4.66 each, a 54% savings

I used to $5 GC I recieved from previous transactions, and one $10 GC I got from the shopkick app!  You guys should seriously sign up for this thing, it is the easiest thing ever.  I was going through my history and most of my kicks were simply walk-ins to Target!  You can receive kicks for scanning products in-store, linking your card and making purchases, or (my favorite) walk-ins.  Simply by walking into the store they will give you 35-80 kicks (sometimes more, like on Black Friday when they gave away 200k per store!).  My $10 GC cost 2,500 kicks, so I've been saving up for a while, but you can redeem it for a $2 GC with as little as 500k.

Overall, I paid $9.22 and got $10 back in gift cards!  There's nothing like shopping for free.  ;)

So wishing I could include gift cards with this, because, honestly, if it wasn't for the gift card promos, I wouldn't be using these coupons!  I have to stick with the plan, though, we want to see how much we save vs. the cost of acquiring the coupons (the cost of ink, essentially, and newspapers).

This is no joke!  Is there a better total than $0?  I think not.  So, all told I spent $8.68, got back $4 in EB, and will submit these for a $6 rebate.

The rebate was in last week's Red Plum insert.  It is buy 3 participating Pfister products and get $6 back.  Both the Advil and Thermacare were participating.  The $4 EB reward is printing up to 4 times for people but you have to do them in separate transactions!
